Dates: Thursday, October 30, 2014
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Speaker: Dr. Benjamin Sommer
One of the most misunderstood and misrepresented topics in Judaism is its view of life after death. This lecture will review traditional rabbinic views on resurrection, will examine the different biblical approaches to the issue, and will analyze why modern Jews know so little about traditional Jewish views of the afterlife. Dr. Sommer's conclusions will be very relevant for American Jews.
